I was raised on a dairy farm in Fair Grove, MO where I graduated in '86.  Went to MSU - (I'll always call it SMS) for a couple of years, and got into radio in 1993.  I had always wanted to be a DJ and after managing to land a job as a receptionist at a station, was blessed to find a couple of guys willing to take me under their wing.  I love music.  Period.  Especially love hearing it live.  I adore animals, even snakes, and so wish the world was a kinder place for them.  I have two feline children (some of you refer to them as cats;) - Sophie is 8 and Parker is 10.  They were both adopted from local shelters when they were just babies.  I know times are tough right now for all of us, but a lot of innocent little animals are being abandoned due to the economy and people losing their jobs.  If you're thinking of a new four-legged family member, please visit the C.A.R.E. no-kill animal shelter, and if you can spare a few dollars or some time, they could really use the help.  You can even lend a hand by cleaning out your closet or garage!  C.A.R.E. runs a thrift store to help make money and can always use donations.  Visit our homepage to see the C.A.R.E. Pet of The Week and find out about all the wonderful work they do.  I'm on FaceBook now, and feel free to drop me a line, or call me on the Cave Line at 417-577-7104.  Join me every weekday from 10am - 3pm on your station for Deep Cuts and Pure Classic Rock, 104.7 The Cave!
