Text INTERN to 64636, followed by your question! Hello, I am Mike the Intern. I guess the most important thing about me is my love for music. Before I started working here, I only listened to The Cave. While I was still in college, I discovered that I needed an internship to graduate. I figured if I was going to get an internship, I might as well get one at a place that I liked, so I tried The Cave. After numerous unreturned calls to our program director, John Kimmons, I was able to get my foot in the door, so to speak and got on as an intern. I then started doing weekends and one day Tom Taylor our morning guy quit. Since nobody wanted to get up at 5 a.m., magically I was thrust into a morning show spot. It also helps that from the get go, I have always been a fan of the music. I'm a huge fan of Pink Floyd - my favorite by far - along with Zeppelin, The Police, Grateful Dead, Rush, David Bowie, Steely Dan...just to name a few. I also play guitar and sing in a blues band called "Nigel and The Ghost".
